Génesis Lopez Garced is a showrunner and producer with Puerto Rican and Dominican roots. She earned her MFA in Film Production at Full Sail University and her BS in Mass Media Production with a Minor on Marketing at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Raise from parents on the Entertainment Industry, a musician and a publicist, wasn't anything new that she chose that industry as her career. During her Bachelor's she worked as a freelancer entertainment journalist at Tv y Novelas Puerto Rico, a Magazine that sales more than 15,000 issues bi weekly. Up to her fourth semester in college she decided to focus in television. This inspire her to produce a Kid's Tv Show called Circolandia. A show that broadcast on Univision. Genesis coordinated, planned and scheduled pre-production, production and post-production for the processing and recording of 13 episodes on a $100,000 budget with a 65 cast and crew. Genesis has work on more than 10 films, one of them producing the Thesis film for her class, Hush a suspense drama that includes a cast and crew of 60 and it's now on It's first festival run. As well as the short film Metamorphosis, which won Finalist on the Los Angeles CinesFest. Genesis is passionate about making heart warming, real life and coming of age stories that reflects the reality of the society. Her other passions include music, dancing and movies. In the near future Genesis sees herself as a creator of TV series as well as an instructor on a high level educational system.
