Juanique Randall was born on April 12 in South Africa, her ancestry is predominantly French and German. She is a writer and actress known for American Monster (2018), Black Sails (2017), Dominion (2016), Honey 3: Dare to Dance (2015) and Homeland (2014). She first fell in love with the industry while living in Rome in 2001, where she landed the opportunity to collaborate with Antonio Baiocco (writer/director 'Passage to Paradise') on the theatre-to-screen adaptation of Franco Cardi's play 'L'Incidente', for Warner Brothers. Five years later in Cape Town, she teamed with Gregg Watt, award winning director/producer on his project 'A Touch of Madness'. She discovered narrative theory during her Journalism studies and was drawn to the relationship between storytelling and media psychology. In her formative years, Juanique worked as activist and researcher contributing to several print and online publications. Inspired to tell stories about people focused on solutions, she found herself working on various collaborations to shift Africa's 'resource curse' narrative. In 2013 she partnered on a project to adapt Dr Tanya Pergola's book 'Time is Cows' to screen for a documentary with the same name, chronicling the author's experiences living with the Maasai. A year later she presented a 6-episode TV talk show exploring a unique perspective on entrepreneurial innovation in South Africa. While training at the Institute for Future Studies, Juanique completed the manuscript for her first book: Beyond the Paradox. Its core focus explores a series of scenarios in context to media propagation of polarized ideologies. A strong advocate for post-humanism, she has shifted her focus to leveraging film for its considerable potential to impact the global collective in terms of healthy psychological behavioral change. One of few futurists in the film industry, she is working on The Algorithm, an 8-episode sci-fi/history series combining simulation theory with real-life political and historical events, with the focus on global systems change. Juanique is also writing a documentary focused on bridging cultural and biodiversity set for post-production toward early 2020. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
