West Montez is an Afro-Puerto Rican actor from Brooklyn, New York, known for his role as Luther in To The Stars (2019). He was born November 1st, 2002 in the Midwest city of Detroit to his father Larry and mother Theresa. His father is African American and his mother is of Puerto Rican and European descent. His family first moved to Smithtown, Long Island before settling in the Brooklyn borough of New York until he was 12. His family then relocated to Frisco, Texas. Being a young performer since the age of 2 in dance, music, and theater, he received extensive training at an acclaimed dramatic arts conservatory. When he was 15, he began working in the industry as a legal 18. After finding much consistency and immediate success on the commercial side of the business, he would later make his theatrical debut in the award-winning Sundance Film Festival indie feature, To The Stars (2019).
