With his incredible presence mixed with an undeniable wit Smalls has come a long way since his debut on such shows as Mad T.V. and Saved by the Bell, which led to national commercial bookings allowing for roles on E.R., The Huntress, The Hughley's, and The Steve Harvey Show. Most recently he can be seen playing Ruben Banks on the hit UPN show All of Us produced by 'Will Smith' and Jada Pinkett Smith. It's his back ground of being a proud Desert Storm veteran, a former professional football player and a stint in medical school that brings a special diversity to Smalls' career, which has taken a high-profile turn in such movie projects as, _Today You Die (2005)_, Haus über Kopf (2003), Wie überleben wir Weihnachten? (2004), _Up Close and Personal (1996)_ , and Heat (1995). Smalls' star shines brightest as a stand up comedian, where he has made a name for himself at iconic L.A. comedy hot spots, including The Ice House, The Improv, and The Laugh Factory.
