Born and raised in Saratoga Springs, New York, Susan spent nearly two decades working in film and post production. After her son graduated from elementary school, she made the decision to finally work on the other side of the camera - a life long dream and passion. While working in production, she worked with Barry Levinson, Mark Johnson, and Robert Redford among other filmmakers. Susan spent several years working at HBO where she was supervisor of production operations in Los Angeles. She is of Swedish descent and spent several years living in Stockholm and Båstad, Sweden where she learned to speak the language.
