Polly's passion for storytelling and communication took her from Investigative Reporting to Film, Episodic TV and Voice Over. Her brand is authentic, approachable and authoritative, whether embodying a reporter, a mom, a judge or professor on TV or Film. She was a reporter on NYC television and on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC for 25 years. Polly won 15 Emmys for her work. She prowled the streets of New York and traveled the world to tell those stories. Reporting is a cut throat business (and even harder when you're raising twins on your own), but she thrived in the hustle: scrambling for exclusives, performing last-minute live shots, and racing to beat deadlines. Now she bring stories to life, instead of reciting just the facts. Her skills as a writer, producer and on-camera reporter prepared her easily when another door opened to TV and Film. Polly then quickly booked roles on HBO for THE UNDOING, Directed by Emmy winner Susanne Bier, and THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA, based on the novel by Phillip Roth, CBS' TOMMY, THE BLACKLIST on NBC, and HUNTERS on Amazon Prime. A film role in MR. HARRIGAN'S PHONE will air on Netflix in 2022. During her Journalism career, she reported for WPIX-TV, WNBC-TV and WWOR-TV in New York and worked as a Capitol Correspondent in Washington. She also produced pieces for ABC News, MSNBC and dozens of other stations. Polly was was born in New York City, grew up in Washington, DC, and graduated from Cornell University. She studies in New York at the Kimball Studio and is mom to twin teenagers, Molly and Jack Henry. And to two dogs, a fluffy Standard Poodle puppy and a "foster fail" dog that sings on command.
