Leah Catherine Thompson is a singer/actress hailing from southwest Louisiana. Leah was cast as Annie in Peter Pan Player's production of "Annie". The playhouse enjoyed seven sell-out shows and added an eighth show which also sold out. Leah is the 2012 winner of Artbreak Idol and performs at various festivals and events around the southeast United States. Leah enjoys competitions, but loves putting on shows even more. Leah's vocal ability was noticed at a very young age. At the age of 2 Leah already had an uncanny ability to deliver on-pitch vocals with near-perfect diction. Along with this gift Leah expressed desire to perform in front of audiences and on film. One of Leah's favorite shows when she was a toddler was "Barney", the purple dinosaur. Leah often asked her parents, "How can you get me into the tv where I can sing with them?" Leah backed up her desire to perform a short time later when she signed herself up for a karaoke contest on a cruise ship. Leah took to the stage, began singing, and didn't want to stop. As of summer 2013 Leah wrapped a short movie called "Ruby and the Dragon", where Leah played one of the two lead roles. The movie will be submitted to film festivals across the country where it is hoped to be well-received.
