After his studies at the Sergio Tofano acting school in Turin and advanced studies in New York and Paris, Stefano Saccotelli worked on stage with directors Ian Williams, Aldo Zampieri and Pier Giuseppe Corrado (lead actor in "Occhio folle occhio lucido" and in "Solo con la libertà..."). In "Lettere dal Sahara (Letters from the Sahara)" by Vittorio De Seta (Venice 2006) he appeared in the role of Father Sandro. He co-starred in "La tempêta" by Marcello Vai (as Giovanni the partisan) and in many independent productions, including roles in English and French. On Italian television, Stefano has appeared in the soap operas "Centovetrine" and "Vivere", as well as guest starring in the popular sitcoms "Camera café" and "Piloti". He has also acted in many major TV dramas such as: "Le stagioni del cuore", "Lo smemorato di Collegno", "L'amore non basta (quasi mai...)", "I segreti di Borgo Larici" and "Sacrificio d'amore" (Mediaset), "La bambina dalle mani sporche", "Il bene e il male", "Enrico Mattei, l'uomo che guardava al futuro", "Walter Chiari, fino all'ultima risata", "Purché finisca bene (La tempesta)", "Questo nostro amore 70", "Rocco Schiavone (Castore e Polluce)", "Non uccidere 2 (Le Figlie di Maat)" and "Provaci ancora Prof! 7 (Errori a catena)" (Rai), "Il mostro di Firenze" (Sky/Fox). (Disney Channel). Lead role, director and screenwriter for the web-sitcom "Kul Senter" (Premio Patologico at Rome Festival Internazionale Cinema Patologico 2016), Stefano co-stars in the musical "A Christmas Carol" (directed by Melina Pellicano) and performs his one-man-show "Diversamente...altri". He is also featured as the lead actor in Luigi Pirandello's classic "L'uomo dal fiore in bocca (The Man with a Flower in His Mouth)" directed by Aldo Zampieri. He has recently performed in the well-known Chinese TV drama "To Be a Better Man" directed by Zhang Xiaobo (Zhejiang TV/Jiangsu TV/LETV, the prisoner) and in the film "Toy Gun" (directed by Marco Serafini, Antonio), a Luxembourg-Belgium co-production.
