Brad is a British actor known primarily for his roles in Gloves Off, Golden Years, and North vs South. Born in London as Bradley Heath Moore to his mother, Brenda Moore, who was from Jewish-Italian decent and his father, Ronnie, who he fondly describes as a'chancer' from the East End of London. Brad grew up in North/East London before moving to Hertfordshire aged 11. He attended Chauncy Secondary School, Ware and later Shephallbury Art College, Stevenage. As a boy Brad boxed for Ware Boys Club under Taffy Green and later coached for several years at Hoddesdon Boxing Academy. He was introduced to acting at a very young age, which he credits to actress and neighbour Pauline Quirk, although he did not pursue a career until much later in life when he was 40. Brad initially performed for two years on the UK stand-up comedy circuit and during this time secured parts in over twenty low budget short films. This period he considers to be his training ground as a performer. Since then Brad has secured roles in many feature films starting with a small role in 'Best Laid Plans' alongside Stephen Graham, a cameo in the BAFTA winning 'The Rise' performing with Timothy Spall, a starring role in 'Montana' alongside Ashley Walters, Lars Mikkelsen and Michelle Fairley. Brad's first lead role was performing alongside Stephen Berkoff and Bernard Hill as the psychopath Gary Little in North vs South. The performance was well received by many critics prompting Movie Ramblings to say "Moore's performance is a barnstormer, chewing the scenery with such gusto, his dodgy geezer an avatar of pure chaos. Magnetic, chilling, funny and annoying, whenever the unpredictable Moore's onscreen, all you're watching is him." Well respected film critics Hey You Guys commented "Moore's performance perfectly encapsulates everything that is brutal about this piece, as a well-crafted antagonist, who manages to have as many enemies from those in the South (who he sides with), as he does with the Northerners. It's a stand-out performance, as Gary Little is a nasty piece of work, intimidating, barbaric and yet somewhat pathetic too". His most recent roles were in short film 'Ruminate' starring with Rebecca Hall (Vicky Christina Barcelona), and as the lead antagonist in 'Golden Years' alongside Una Stubbs, Simon Callow, Phil Davies and Sue Johnston. Brad has just completed filming his second lead role in the boxing comedy Gloves Off (which he also co-wrote) and stars alongside Ricky Tomlinson, Alexei Sayle, Paul Barber, and Denise Van Outen. Britflicks wrote " Brad Moore who co wrote the film with Nesbit plays the lead character wonderfully". Jarred Bold of The Sun wrote " Similar in style to The Full Monty, the film fuses comedy, romance and pathos and is classic British cinema" OC Movies wrote "Gloves Off is a blast to watch, full of humour and perfect timing, but the comedy never undercuts the serious moments.Brad Moore obviously injected a lot of heart into the project and despite his involvement in the film and important screen presence, Moore never over shadows" Andy Burley from Back to basics commented "Moore has created one of the most entertaining British films of the last few years and it definitely deserves its place alongside British greats" - IMDb Mini Biography By: Andrea Farrena
