George Tounas was born on February 16, 1978, in Germany and is of Greek origin. He graduated in communication design from the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim in 2004 and is an art director and frontend developer. As actor he played in numerous film, TV and advertising productions since the early 2000s. In recent years he gets bigger roles. George is multi-lingual and speaks English, German and Greek fluently, and also some French. He is also a model, started on fashion runways and still being casted occasionally in various productions. He is very athletic and keeps in shape. As a former long jumper he participated several times at various championships. George attended the New York Film Academy in New York City where he completed a 4-week full-time actor training program with a diploma in 2005. In 2009 he completed a two months full-time professional actor training program with a certificate at the TVI Actors Studio in New York City, when he lived for four months in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
