Alberto Zafra was born in Jaen, Spain, son of Cristina (Tina) a fashion designer and assistant of her husband, Manuel, who also was a fashion designer. Alberto grew up in a home located in many cities from he was nine years old, until he reached the age of seventeen. At a time in his life, he lived in more than twelve cities. Being at the age of seventeen he left the family home, for this time to choose his own destinations. After leaving his work as a broadcaster in "Radio Cadena Dial" and "Cadena Ser Granada", he moved to Paris at the age of eighteen. After some time, he settled down in London where he lived for three years. In 2001 he returned to Spain, specifically Madrid, where he like always before, was studying and working in a series of jobs that doesn't acquire education , although he was also taking place in works like Greater at the US Embassy in Madrid, office manager and receptionist in well-known companies and in a daily press, while he studied technical audiovisual, operator of Camera and interpretation, in places such as by the international known actor Juan Corazza acting studio and with his favorite teacher, the Argentinean Fernando Piernas. In the year of 2009, after being working both in the front of,- and behind the camera, he decides to return to his need of communication and expression, by writing scripts and take more seriously his work behind the camera as a director and screenwriter. And after training and studying in Madrid during 14 years, he decided to go to Tenerife in 2014 to create his own film production company in the Canary Islands (Audiovisual Zone). Actor, director and screenwriter very interested in film as a medium of expression and social cinema, the independence in his work is his desire and for the same burning desire he participates in projects like "Beyond the night" , "Más allá de la noche" his first feature film as an actor, where he gets very good reviews for his performance. As a casting assistant, he has worked for renowned films as "Princess", "Torrente 3 the Protector" or "Films not to sleep -the child's room." As director and screenwriter in "I yearned Eve", "Free rate" and "Not allowed". Alberto Zafra, Spanish actor, director and screenwriter, speaking English, French and Castilian, consider that communication is his passion, and the film is a wonderful form of expression, both in front of and behind the camera.
