Actor and fledgling writer Mataeo Mingo was born on the East Coast in the beach town of Cocoa although now raised in Los Angeles County. At the age of 4, after many highs and lows in athletics, Mataeo Mingo landed a part in the acclaimed theater reproduction of Ragtime and has been honing his singing gifts ever since. Months later, his emotional connection to the stage led to a role in the Rodgers and Hammerstein reproduction of King & I. Years later, he juggles dual roles in plays, such as Hairspray, while exhibiting athleticism in the areas of Soccer, Football (Forward), and Track & Field. Since the age of 7, dramatic, vocal, and comedic performances continue to stretch his acting muscles in TV, movies, and commercials. Impactful experiences in Westworld's (2016) remake and the short film Jersey City Story (2015) have and will continue to foster this child artist's growth. Presently, Mataeo can be seen crafting his art in productions of Bosch, iZombie, N.C.I.S, & S.W.A.T.
